Molly and Tinka were brought in as strays to the Devore Animal Shelter in San Bernardino County on Sept. 12, 2026, along with another sibling who was adopted. These girls are approximately 4+ months old (est. dob 5/17/26) and appear shepherd/Malinois mixed with something fuzzy. After 10 days in the shelter, Molly and Tinka became ill with upper respiratory infections, which is unfortunately common. However, after a full course of antibiotic treatment and beginning a second, shelter staff mandated they be removed from the shelter environment due to no improvement. Without rescue assistance, Molly and Tinka would have been euthanized 10/5.
Molly and Tinka are now being fostered with us at Lily & Kin and have begun medical care. Both girls are extremely scared at moments and playful/happy in others. They are surrounded by a foster family of kids, dogs and love, and are in the beginning stages of being both crate and house trained. Molly and Tinka are deeply bonded and need confidence building. We will learn more about their individual personalities as we go.
